Megan joined KNZ at the beginning of August 2016 having recently moved back to New Zealand from the UK with her family.

Megan has approximately 15 years’ experience advising organisations on regulatory and compliance matters. In most recent years she has worked in senior compliance roles in the UK financial services industry having worked as Compliance Manager for firms such as Reuters and ICAP. She has extensive experience of complex international compliance issues.

Prior to moving to the UK, Megan worked in both Auckland and Wellington for the Ministry of Fisheries as a Senior Solicitor. She also spent time in Parliament working alongside the then Minister of Fisheries as his Private Secretary. 

Megan is admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in New Zealand and a Solicitor in England and Wales. She has science and law degrees from Otago University.

Megan is a keen sportsperson and is looking forward to exploring the Bay of Plenty region.
